This piece is an original artwork piece created by Natalie Jane Parker called "A winter's morning - The Laughing Kookaburra". This is a circular puzzle that manages to still encapsulate the beauty of the kookaburra up close and in its natural setting.
The hues of the background allow the kookaburra to shine in this piece and is outstandingly beautiful.
You'll recognize all the whimsy shapes that are iconically Australian in the unique puzzle including the Sydney opera house, caravans, pelicans, bbq's, boomerangs and those are just a few!
Natalie Jane Parker has been a wildlife artist focusing on the Australian fauna and flora since 1996. Her home and studio are nestled on 50 acres in the picturesque Hunter Valley, whose views provide daily inspiration for her art. Natalie paints acrylic paint on clay-coated board, which gives her the smooth surface she requires to achieve her intricate details.

The unusual shaped pieces are all hand drawn in by Dave. These “whimsy” pieces match the theme of the puzzle from animals to characters or geometric shapes.
