the brand story:

In May 2000, Leeanne and Graham started making ironing board covers at home, and selling them from the local markets. In 2001, they hired their first machinist, and not long after, they were looking for a new Sewroo HQ. They moved into a small factory in Harvest Court, Southport, Queensland and have been expanding their loyal customer base since. Today they have happy customers the world over and are still producing out of the QLD factory twenty years on with their long-term employees.

Biome founder, Tracey Bailey, has had the same Sewroo peg bag hanging outside on her line for about seven years! "Each time I hung out the washing, I was in awe of how long this bag was lasting. Finally it dawned on me that we should be selling these at Biome! So happy they are Aussie made."
