Sasawashi Deep Exfoliation Mitten

Created by blending Washi paper with kumazasa fibres, this deep exfoliation mitten is a joyful and functional addition to any bathing routine. Kumazasa is naturally antibacterial and when combined with Washi paper, the resulting fabric becomes soft and durable, absorbing twice as much water as a plain cotton. 

This deep exfoliation mitten is perfect for removing dead skin and keratin build-up, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. With its antibacterial and deodorising properties, this scrub mitten creates a calming experience, free from unpleasant odours.

Simply wet the mitten in hot water and scrub gently in circular motions, using SASAWASHI's natural ability to soak up oils.

SASAWASHI fabric is made by blending Kumazasa fibres; grown in the cool highlands of Japan, with Washi paper. Washi is strong, durable and water-resistant used in traditional Shoji slidding doors keeping homes cool in summer and warm in winter. A sheet of these blended fibres is then slit into long strings of yarn, twisted together to machine weave or knit SASAWASHI yarn and fabric.
