Designed for storing, freezing, heating and serving food (lid not oven or microwave safe). Glass is safest for food with no leaching or contamination. Use for baby food, kids and adults' lunches.

Base is made from shatter resistant oven safe tempered glass, and the lid is made from BPA Free polypropylene and silicone seal.

Tips for use & care

• Hand wash or use a mild cycle in the dishwasher using the top rack.
• Avoid abrasive scourers.
• Not suitable for use on hotplates.
• The silicone seal in the lid can and should be removed for washing to avoid water being trapped and mould growing.
• Avoid severe and sudden temperature changes. (ie: frozen meals should be defrosted before putting back in the oven)
• If using the lid in the microwave, ensure it is unlatched and loosely sitting on top. Open away from the body to avoid scalding
• When using in the freezer, only fill to a maximum of 80% as food & liquids expand when frozen.

There are two types of Glasslock so please look out for oven safe" in the name if you are looking for oven safe glass. The standard Glasslock (often with the blue trim around the lid) is freezer safe but not oven safe. Oven safe often has red trim around the lid.
