Underprotection is a brand combining ethics and aesthetics. The brand was founded in Copenhagen in 2010 with the goal of combining sustainability and fashion. They emphasized sustainable lingerie and swimwear being desirable, wearable and comfortable. Underprotection only works with sustainable and certified materials such as TENCEL™ lyocell, recycled polyester, recycled nylon, recycled wool, banana fibres and organic cotton.
Underprotection is also proud to say that they are a Certified B Corporation. On top of this, all underprotections packaging, paper and polybags are either recycled or biodegradable. Underprotection has a solid commitment to social sustainability, ensuring proper working conditions and wages. For this reason, Underprotection chooses to only work with certified factories.
