Solomon Street

Solomon St (SOLst) exist to make functional clothes for everyday, that bring colour into your life; they move with your body, wherever you take them. Lauren started the label in 2017 after finishing a Graphic Design degree and developing an interest in social businesses. Her two passions formed into one and Solomon Street was born. It is her pride and joy. Having grown up with German heritage, sustainability had always been a part of her life and informed her ethos of that whatever she was to put into the world would have to only improve it.

All SOLst fabric is all produced sustainably and ethically. Manufacturing in the same state means they can provide customers with a more transparent manufacturing process and have much more interaction with the makers. SOLst exclusively use natural fibres, and synthetics (only where necessary) that fit into a circular economy; an economic model with no waste, only resources. SOLst also collect their fabric offcuts and make them into scrunchies and headbands. They even donate the tiny scraps to SCR group who use them to make rags and biofuels.
