Following their ethos of adding value, Kirsten and Mark found themselves wishing they could use their favourite coffee in their Nespresso machine, instead of being limited by what Nespresso chose. At the same time, they learned that most single-use Nespresso pods are difficult to recycle, and often find their way into landfill.
Wanting to solve both problems at once, Kirsten and Mark developed Podstar. Using the highest quality stainless steel with no single-use pieces, they gave people the freedom to drink whichever coffee they like, and save the planet at the same time.
