This DIY face serum acts as light, oil-based moisturiser that is absorbed quickly into the skin, carrying beneficial essential oils into your pores. Customise this face serum with a combination of essential oils depending on your skin type and needs, and nourish your skin with healthy, natural ingredients. For ours, we used essential oils suited to dry and mature skin.
Both of the key oils used act as the base of the serum as they have many benefits for different skin types.
Rosehip Oil Contains a wealth of essential fatty acids and antioxidants. It improves the appearance of scars, stretch marks and inflamed skin conditions. Rosehip oil is hydrating and nourishing to dry skin and hair.
Jojoba Oil promotes healthy skin, won't clog pores, and is rich in iodine. When applied topically, iodine fights bacterial growth that leads to breakouts. The antioxidants present in Jojoba oil help to soothe fine lines, wrinkles and naturally slow the signs of aging.
