Our floral body mist celebrates the arrival of Spring with its delicate, exotic, floral and herbaceous aromas. Combining essential oils of lavender, bergamot, ylang ylang and patchouli, this beautiful blend will have an uplifting and balancing effect however you choose to use it. Use it as a body mist, to neutralise odours around the home or office, and to freshen up bed linen. Each essential oil used brings its own unique properties.
Ylang ylang: Ylang ylang has traditionally been used for its calming and balancing properties. It has been known to help relieve extreme mood swings associated with PMS.
Lavender: Lavender essential oil has been known for its antiseptic, analgesic and cytophylactic, properties. It has also been known to have sedating properties.
Bergamot: Bergamot essential oil has an uplifting aroma which has been known to be beneficial for people who are tense and anxious.
Patchouli: Patchouli essential oil has been known to be soothing to the nervous system and has traditionally been used to relieve symptoms of depression and stress. Ingredients
Method
- Infuse the lavender petals in the water for at least 48 hours.
- Strain well using a fine sieve, garni or nut milk bag. Repeat if necessary to ensure there is no remaining petals.
- Add the lavender infused water and essential oils to a 100ml amber glass spray bottle and shake until well dispersed.
- Leave to sit for at least 24 hrs for the oils to infuse.
How to Use
Shake well before each use as the oils will float to the top. Spray yourself liberally all over after a shower or bath for a cooling and relaxing experience. You can also give your home a quick spritz to neutralise odours before your guests arrive, or to freshen up your linen. Avoid eyes. Keep from direct sunlight and use within 3 months. If irritation occurs discontinue use.
