How to Make Your Own Healing Seaweed & Green Tea Bath Soak

Ingredients

You will also need airtight glass jars of your choice

Method

  1. In a medium glass bowl, add all the dry ingredients and gently mix together.
  2. Add the essential oils and stir through.
  3. Pour into your air tight jar and seal and label.

How to Use

Run a warm bath and pour in about 1/2 a cup of the bath soak . Mix through with your hands a little to help dissolve the ingredients. Hop in, relax and soak away all your stress, tension, aches and pains. Ensure you take care getting out of the bath as warm baths can make you slightly dizzy or unbalanced when standing up. Rinse and clean your bath as soon as you are finished. If you don't have a bath, you could use this as a foot soak - it feels wonderful! This recipe makes approximately 350g. Here we filled 1 x 290ml Weck glass jar with some left over. A great idea would be to place the remaining bath soak into another smaller glass jar, attach a pretty tag and give to a friend as a gift. Keep out of sunlight in a cool dry place. Use within 6-9 months. Tip – To create a moisturising body scrub, omit the magnesium flakes and add about 1/2 a cup (more or less) of your favourite oil such as apricot, coconut or jojoba. Recipe by Nancy George
